Digital Cameras Underwater

By Ed J Price

Essential part of scuba diving equipment is the underwater digital cameras for professional and amateur scuba divers. Opportunities of capturing once in a lifetime photos of the undersea life, vivid colors of coral reefs or a remote shipwreck must not be missed. It is possible to capture these images in a life like picture that can be shared with friends or sold professionally with the underwater digital cameras.

Popular underwater digital cameras:

Some of the most popular dive cameras are the Canon G10, Sea Life Dc 800, Sony A200 Digital SLR Camera and the Nikon D3. These revolutionary underwater digital cameras give clean and crisp pictures that truly reflect the images of marine and plant life and are diving scuba cameras that can withstand the depths and pressure of many feet underwater.

Excellent Compact Dive Cameras:

One of the most advanced compact cameras for under $500 is the Canon G10 and its Canon housing the WP-DC28. With its high resolution images and an excellent LCD that is large and crisp it is a well rounded underwater digital camera that is richly detailed. With a superb wide-angle lens and lots of dedicated controls for even the most serious photographers it gives great performance. The Canon WP DC28 housing can take the Canon G10 Powershot to depths over 130 feet.

Sony A200 Digital SLR Camera with Ikelite #6841.20 housing is an entry level digital camera that captures enough detail for photo quality prints and offers an auto-focus system. It has a large view finder, wireless flash control and gives good detail at the lowest sensitivities. It has solid construction and offers all of the essentials in an affordable package. Teamed with Ikelite housing, you get a compact; clear underwater housing that give corrosion-free performance up to 200 feet.

Number one Performance with Number one Cameras:

With sleek, modern and high tech functionality the SeaLife DC800 is one camera for scuba divers. Colorful pictures can be taken by using the 5 new dive-specific color correction modes. Before taking pictures underwater the camera is set on Sea Mode, this restores lost colors which can be lost when diving under 200 feet. The rubber within the camera acts as a shock protection for the camera. The SeaLife has a quick shutter for fast action shots and long lasting battery for a full day of photography.

Although pricier than some of its competitors the Nikon D3 digital camera are top in line in technology. With the Sea MDX-D3 housing the Nikon D3 is popular with professional photographers because the auto exposure is dead on perfect, the viewfinder huge and the auto focus fast and accurate. The Sea MDX-D3 is built ergonomically to make taking photography underwater with ease. It is made in such a way that with one finger holding the camera the other finger is shooting pictures. The new Sea underwater dive camera housing is quite impressive.

Naxxramas Guide to Success

By Christopher Black

The most challenging raid in pre-BC is back with vengeance. If you were a pre-BC toon as I am you will remember this legendary raid. One of a kind to say the least. Previously located in Eastern Plaguelands, Naxxramas now sits in the sky about Dragonblight. Besides its location change it also changed its style of instance. No longer is it the 40 man raid that was a horror to conduct. It now comfortably fits 10 and 25 man raids.

So some of you think that Naxx will be a joke in WoLK? Well leave your easysauce at home because it doesn't go well with Naxx. After getting some confidence and gear in Heroics, Naxx will be the Karazhan of WoLK. Let me ease the pain of those 50g repair bills and explain the Naxxramas Guide to group chemistry you want to look for when making a group.

Starting things off with the prerequisites of making a group in Naxx. Naxx, unlike Karazhan, will not fly with very few healers. I recommend 3 decent healers join you in these encounters. Reason being this raid is more complex then Karazhan, takes more time, and things will "pop up" and you need those quick heals. Next is a usual 2 tanks leaving the rest of the spots for dps. My personal key to a happy group is diversity. There are two reasons why: 1. Its better to mix and match abilities then have some repeat and there are "wasted" spots. 2. No fussing over the lewt. Simple as that.

The only other notes on 25 man to mention is that well, you have 25 people. Most bosses will now have adds, and the usual boost in health. Double your healers and tanks fill the rest with dps. Once you master 10 mans 25 mans (if geared) will seem simple.

For healers your requirements vary with how many healers you have, but I would suggest around 1200 spellpower and 250mp5 (3 healers). To be safe 1700 would be a better bet. Getting through some of these fights means you have to heal you butt off. Even in one encounter the raid is split in half! Making sure that you get good healers is your number one priority when doing Naxx.

As for tanks 20k unbuffed HP, 20K armor, defense 540 (crit immunity), and around 40-45% avoidance. Some of the encounters in Naxx hit with quite a punch. Not to mention a little spider named Maexxna =). Tanks will be your second priority when picking your group.

Last, but least in this case dps, melee 9% hit, puts out 1.5K, caster 17% hit, puts out 1.5K. To be safe with dps you should find 2K+. Dps I wouldn't say are unimportant, but the fact of the matter is they decided how fast the boss dies. Unless your trying to beat an enrage this has no major effect on your raid.

Why are you still reading? Go make your group now! Get those achievement points for clearing Naxx. If you want to save more gold in repair bills. Please visit wowcollege.com for the follow up on Naxxramas Guides. - 19955

Suggestions for Safe Gardening

By Dave Truman

Even though there is not any kind of large risk or danger involved in gardening, it is still important to be as safe as possible and thus avoid some possible safety issues. When you work in a larger scale garden, it is especially important to be careful while gardening. The plants you grow in your garden and your location will also affect the type of safety practices that you should keep in mind while gardening.

Making Your Garden Safe

Staying safe while gardening is easiest when you are dealing with an indoor garden where all the plants grow in pots. The only real danger that you need to beware of are the chemicals that are present in the herbicides and fertilizers that you use on your plants. There are many more diverse issues to keep in mind in order to enjoy outdoor gardening safely. For example, you will need to beware of certain insects and animals that may be attracted to your garden. In some areas, spiders and snakes can become a problem for a gardener.

If you do not organize your tools while working in your garden, this can create a safety hazard. This is because tools that are strewn about the garden may be difficult to see and thus easy to step or trip on. You will also want to keep an eye on any fertilizers or other chemical substances that you are using to make sure that no children get into them.

Wearing gloves and using kneeling pads can also be beneficial when you are pulling out tough roots that can injure your bare hands or when dealing with thorny plants. Gardening safety can also be maintained by using kneeling pads because some gardens have sharp stones or pebbles that can injure your knees and legs.

Keep in mind that cutting and pruning plants is also potentially hazardous. Sometimes pieces of the plant you are cutting can fly out at you unexpectedly. This is the case even more so if you are using an electric or gas powered tool. Such tools can also be dangerous because they often make use of sharp cutting instruments.

The best way to stay safe while gardening is to prevent as many potential problems as you can. One way to do this is to keep all of your gardening tools well maintained.

Just being aware of what possible dangers are involved with gardening will help you to be safer while enjoying your hobby. Dangers often arise from a lazy attitude towards safety. - 19955

How To Add Chlorine Stabilizer To Your Pool

By Matthew Giovanisci

What is Chlorine Stabilizer? If you use pool shock or any other type of unstabilized chlorine to sanitize your pool then you are wasting chlorine. You can get your chlorine to last much longer and be a lot more efficient by using chlorine stabilizer.

Chlorine Stabilizer is an organic compound that protects your chlorine from being oxidized by the sun, allowing the chlorine to stay in the pool to do its job longer.

The best time to add chlorine stabilizer is at the beginning of the swimming season. You should always keep your stabilizer at 40ppm (parts per million) all season long. Keep a good eye on this or it will tend to rise and fall frequently. However if you use chlorine products that are stabilized then by adding it to your pool, you will be adding and keeping your stabilizer at the proper level.

Adding Chlorine Stabilizer To Your Pool 1. We start by cleaning your pool filter by backwashing or rising your cartridge if you have a cartridge filter.

2. Find out how much stabilizer to add to your swimming pool. Most stabilizer products require you to add 1 pound per 3,000 gallons of water in your pool. Make sure you check the labels first to see if this is the proper amount.

3. We are going to add the stabilizer to your filter system by SLOWLY pouring the product into the skimmer allowing it to pass through your pool filter system.

4. Keep you pump running now for about 24 hours and do not backwash your filter system during this process.

Why do you add chlorine stabilizer to your filter system and not directly into the pool? Because chlorine stabilizer dissolves very very slow by adding it to your pool directly will cause it to lay on the bottom of your pool for a long time.

If you have any problems or additional questions we advice to contact your local pool supplier. - 19955

Fairs and Festivals How-Tos

By Sam Weyland

Florida is known in the United States as the Sunshine State. It's one of the few places in North America that enjoys warm, tropical climates and with a sunny ambience that comes from all the fairs and festivals that happen all year round. Aside from the regular yearly events that happen, there are also a few fledgling organizers that set up shows in their first year. Many people with the talent and skill can be found here, wanting to earn a little extra.

Of course, if you are one of these people, I wholeheartedly support your notion of selling the things that you love doing. However, you must make sure that once you have a booth, you are able to attract many potential customers. Below are some tips that I've learned from knowing some of the "fair regulars":

Spruce up your booth: Having fabulous craftworks is only half of the deal. You won't be attracting customers if all you do is spread them on a dull table. You're selling art. Make the booth attractive enough to catch would-be buyers' eyes from a distance. Something as simple as a colorful cloth to spread out your wares on or a banner on top of your booth will be a big thing. If you're selling food and beverages, a dumpster right next to you will certainly not help any. Make sure you clean up your area, too.

*Talk, but do not intimidate, your customers: Your crafts will simply not sell themselves. You have to make an effort to talk about your creations, telling them why you think it's special. But at the same time, do not flock them with information. Remain casual! And if you notice a potential customer having second doubts about what you are selling, then recommend a similar item that he or she may also consider.

Be prepared for ill weather: We may be the Sunshine State, but a tropical area also receives its fair share of rainfall. And if you've been in Florida long enough, you know that you will never be able to predict when it will drop. Have some thick plastic sheets ready to cover your crafts in the event of a rain, and have some heavy objects as well so they don't fly away. And do bring an umbrella for yourself as well! We don't want you sick, now.

Lastly, don't overdo it: Don't cram so much paraphernalia on your booth that your crafts get lost. Don't talk so much you forget to listen to your customers' concerns. And don't bring so much anti-rain equipment, you don't bring enough of what you're planning to sell. - 19955
